Roses in Tyrol

Rosen in Tirol (Original Title)

The quirky prince Heinrich Dagobert likes to hunt ... and we’re not talking about animals only. His marriage to Princess Rosemarie is not exactly the happiest in the land. But when a party is thrown in the prince’s castle to bring together swingers with a like mind, the neglected princess finds someone for herself, too. The bird dealer Adam and his wife Christel, who works at the post office are able to clear up their jealous misunderstandings in this story, too.

Great lyrical comedy/ operetta. It "gathered" a lot of the stars of those years. Martha Harell and Johannes Heesters - the main roles. Great comedians - Hans Moser and Theo Lingen as supporting cast. The film demonstrates the highest quality of costumes, period detail, scenes of the parade, ceremonies, local traditions, music, etc.
